Wheelchair & Equipment Assessment

Foundations Physio work closely with Clearwell Mobility and Clearwell Care to complete assessments for equipment and wheelchairs. We realise that choosing a new bit of equipment or wheelchair can be a daunting prospect and always advocate the “try before you buy” approach. To achieve this we can arrange to meet you at a Clearwell Mobility showroom or bring equipment to your home for you to trial, this will allow us to fully assess you with it and give an unbiased opinion on what will be best for you.

Wheelchair assessments can be complex and we deal with a range of seating, from the most basic of attendant chairs to a complicated powered wheelchair with moulded seating. After completing a postural assessment and having a discussion of your needs we are able to arrange for a chair to be brought to you to trial. We can explore purchase, rental or referral to NHS Wheelchair services (if appropriate) to make sure you get the right chair at the right time.
