Physiotherapy in the field of Neurology has always fascinated me as each person inflicted with a neurological condition presents differently and is unique. I’m a firm believer that you must treat the person and not the condition. You must consider a wholistic approach with every individual. My years of experience in this field has also taught me to be resourceful and flexible yet remain effective. Given the limited access to equipment or facilities in the community or care home settings, you must make the most of what you’ve got! Although I am very much interested in new technologies and breakthroughs, my favourite and best tool are still my hands.
